Language and Literature (Chinese, hereafter mentioned as LL) in I-EP Middle School develops its curriculum based on IB MYP Language and literature framework.
We are currently integrating Chinese curriculum standard with IB MYP Language and Literature curriculum framework and teaching methodology under the philosophy of inquiry-based learning and conceptual learning.
In I-EP Middle School, approximately 85% of students are native or near native Chinese speakers, whereas 15% of students are learning Chinese as their second or third language.
Chinese language teaching occurs in different ways to meet students need in I-EP Middle School.
