In I-EP, academic study is essential. However, we believe that the development of character and communication skills are equally as significant. The purpose of the personal/social class is for students to learn about identity and interactions. Students will learn about who they are (e.g., how does their culture affect their characters).
Additionally, students will learn about interactions and communications. The students will learn about how to communicate with one and another and the importance of making and maintain relationships etc.
