In I-EP, students will have three units of science and three units of social studies per academic year. Science and Social studies can be divided into the following strands:
Science
· Living Things
· Earth and Space
· Materials and Matter
· Forces and Energy
Social Studies:
· Human systems and ecomomic activities
· Social organisation and culture
· Continuity and change through time
· Human and natural enviorments
· Resources and the enviorment.
Science and social studies are intergrated into the units of inquiry. The topics for these two subjects are taken from the IB science and social studies scope and sequence and complimented with parts from the Ontario Curriculums.
